Overview:
In my design internship with Capital One, I designed and led a generative research study around how immigrants experience credit in the United States. The project built upon previous research at Capital One about the specific user segment and filled in persistent gaps following those studies. The study consisted of six in-depth interviews with users recruited using UserTesting.com. These users were from a range of socioeconomic backgrounds but had immigrated to the United States in the past five years and received their first credit card in the past two years. Following six interviews, I synthesized my findings with previous findings and created the above journey map to communicate common pathways in immigrant credit journeys in the United States.
